DPA / Data Processing Agreement

If you use inboxmcp for business, inboxmcp processes mail data on your behalf. Art. 28 GDPR requires a data processing agreement (DPA, German: AVV) for that. Business accounts conclude it directly in the portal: no email exchange, no waiting.

How to do it

1. Open the Compliance tab in the portal.
2. Under AVV / Data Processing Agreement, click Create DPA.
3. Enter your company details (company name, signing representative, address, country). They fill the controller side of the agreement.
4. Review the agreement via Preview PDF.
5. Click Accept & download signed PDF. The download starts right away.

You can re-download the PDF at any time from the Compliance tab. The acceptance timestamp and agreement version are recorded in the document.

Good to know

• The DPA covers every mailbox on your account.
• Acceptance is electronic. That satisfies Art. 28(9) GDPR; a handwritten signature is not required.
• When a new agreement version is published, the portal shows a notice. Your accepted DPA stays valid and downloadable; you can accept the new version in the same dialog.
